I have two master’s degrees. One is in Social Work and the
other in School Psychology. I am post-graduate trained in psychoanalytic
psychotherapy. My career spanned forty years. At the start, I saved sad and
desperate kids from child abuse and neglect in New York City. I worked at an
adolescent treatment center for profoundly victimized adolescent boys, a day
treatment center for psychiatric and neurologically impaired adults with
epilepsy, and lastly, in education. I was a field instructor for Adelphi and Fordham
Universities, training social work students. In addition, I treated adults,
couples, families, teenagers, and children in my private practice. To fulfill
my creative passions, I am an artist who holds back my paintings for my personal pleasure and a fiction novelist who works long hours selling books.
